I love it when I'm able to catch up on cleaning. It makes life feel so much better.
I'm having a friend come over today too. I haven't seen her in months, so it will be a welcome visit. It's great that we are able to connect, especially where our schedules are so different.
Well, it's 4 am, time for an hour of shut-eye before I get to steaming things up. :bunny:

Oof, how did I get like this? I'm trying to make my mood change, but the more I try the worse I seem to get. Maybe I need some dark chocolate for it's natural serotonin boost. Thing is, I don't liek dark chocolate. Blech.

I think it's got to be this winter, or maybe stress. I'm not sure. I thought it was the employee reviews that I'm doing, but not really because the majority of the folks I work with are good people.

Well, whatever it is, I need a kick in the fanny to change my ways.

Off to go kick myself...

2009 is going to be a good year. I have plans to pay things off. We have 0 credit cards, but the mortgage and a car payment (my car was totalled in june)
I spent the month of June looking for a decent used car, but it was the height of the gas crunch and anything fuel efficient and decent was either overpriced or gone. So, I bought left over new. :dunce: Which left me with a car payment. It will hopefully be gone by december. Blech.

Other than that, life just goes on. World keeps spinnin'.

So, I am spending time decluttering and organizing. Which needs to be done. I think I am going to take the time this week and reset our budget and check stuff out, see if it needs tweaking.

In May, Gus our 14.5 year old grey, Gus, was euthanized after living a month pain free post osteosarcoma diagnosis. Amputation was not an option.

We had a bit of sadness and still miss them greatly. Doug and Yardman are doing well. Battle will be undergoing Laryngeal Tie Back surgery on Monday the 21st. Scares the heck out of me, but I nkow he is in good hands.

Overall, life keeps moving along. Lately I've been working a lot and frankly, I'm :toast:.

But it's all to the greater good. Battle's surgery will be paid for, cash only. :)
Thanks for reading.
