So, 2011 has started and it is a new year and I have new goals for myself. I am newly single, but have a boyfriend....so I'm not totally on my own. He is sure teaching me a lot about self-control and budgeting. He made up an elaborate budget linked to a ledger so that I can track my expenses better. I'm excited to be using it.

Here are some things that I'd like to do this year:

    1) Keep Grocery Budget to $100/month

One thing I have been doing is saving yogurt cups, so I can start a few seeds inside in March or early April. I may also try buying some started plants this year, as well, but I haven't made up my mind yet. The plants ...

Well it is a new year. Even though every day is a do over. I like to take a little more time and reevaluate my goals. This year My goal is to have my payments covered by investments and of course to be debt free. We were contacted by a company to put a wind turbine on a 40 acre parcel I am paying on with my friend. She had not wanted to do it, but is now in agreement. The money will pretty much cover the land payment for the next 3 years we will run a small negative or break even after taxes and ...
