    I have more than 12 but will put the 12 I most need to complete.

    1.Complete budget for the new year

    2.come up with 5 new recipes to decrease waste of produce and fruit or use up stockpile.

    3. Make yogurt

    4. plant potatoes in a bag

    5. get compost bin

    6. buy a gun

    7. use pasta maker

    8. Make braid rug

    9. try growing peanuts

    10. Take class with daughter ...

    Breakfast burrito (spinach tortilla, cheese, egg whites, tomato, mushroom)

    Wrap (chicken, hummus, lettuce, tomato)

    1/2 frozen pizza (AGH!)
    Small bag of chocolate covered peanuts

    Ok, so I may have completely ruined today by my unhealthy dinner...but I am really proud of myself for preparing both a healthy breakfast and healthy ...

  3. Bummed out...

    Well, I never received a phone call or email yesterday from the company I interviewed with before Christmas. So, I am trying to let it sink in that I probably didn't get the job. I am actually really bummed out about this. I was actually really excited about this position. It would have offered me a healthy dose of responsibility, I would get to use my great experience and skills to work on projects, and I would actually get to go into an office Mon-Friday and see other people.   4. New year and new goals

    So, 2011 has started and it is a new year and I have new goals for myself. I am newly single, but have a I'm not totally on my own. He is sure teaching me a lot about self-control and budgeting. He made up an elaborate budget linked to a ledger so that I can track my expenses better. I'm excited to be using it.

    Here are some things that I'd like to do this year:

    1) Keep Grocery Budget to $100/month
    2) Keep Eating Out Budget to $100/month ...
  5. Day didn't really turn out as expected

    Well the day started out normal enough with the plan to get my uni assignment completed today...that was until my computer start doing rather weird screen stuff and freezing. Investigations showed that this was a known, now unfixable fault with the laptop. So a new computer was in order. Luckily hubby has the store finance card and the department stores have 40 months interest free at the moment.
