Ok, yes I have been weighing myself. I do every morning, dumb I know..lol. But whatever.
HOWEVER, today I put on a pair of cotton pants that I hadn't been wearing as they had shrunk, and were too tight! Today, they fit! Even a little room in the thigh! That i find amazing, as I only committed to weight loss a couple weeks ago. I only started weightwatchers on Saturday. I wonder if I was retaining water? Regardless I feel great about it!
I'm still on the hunt for more recipes.
I have decided to post everything here for two reasons-
1) I constantly lose my postings in the forums and
2) The forums are really taking a long time to load...
So with my limited amount of time I decided to be efficient and keep "tabs" on my journey here.
Well after my first week, I still have $6 left in my grocery budget!
So tomorrow I can add another $50 so I will have $56 and if I can get my $3 back from save-on I will have $59!
Got off to a fantastic start today! Before leaving for work, I walked 20 minutes on the treadmill, drank my eight glasses of water, and worked out with the free weights.
I dressed very business casual and took a bit of time to do my make-up and hair. Kind of ruined the look with my "Phillip Morris" jacket (gift from my mother's friend, who earned it by smoking enough Marlboro's to kill a horse), but it is cold outside and my PM jacket is very warm. If anyone reads the Lose-A-Pound-A-Week Challenge thread, then you already know that I split my pants this morning. I'm just happy it happened BEFORE I left for work. That could have been pretty humiliating. Memo to self: wear pretty undies more often, just in case.
