Well I did not go to Walgreen today.
That makes SEVEN NO SPEND DAYS!!!
I think I am going to wait and go on Saturday and get my shampoo. I am actually hoping that they are out of stock.Then I can get a rain check. Because I was thinking this morning that I have a gift card coming form them for some stuff I bought last month. I can wait for the gift card to come in and use that to pay for the tax when they restock and not have to use actual cash.
Although the day is not over, it's shaping up nicely. They fed us lunch again today at work (Fazoli's-spaghetti, salad, breadsticks) and I got to leave at 3pm. So, after I'm done here, I'm going to go workout at the Y for 30 minutes and then I have an appointment with my therapist. I've been doing pretty good emotional-wise and haven't been stressing over the infertility crap lately. I think the working out has helped. After reading Hollyhills blog on her budget feeding 3 preteen/teens on $200 per month. I'm rising to the challenge!
Now I'm feeding a few more, 5 days a week I have to feed 8 kids, plus friends, and us 2 adults. The other 2 days it's just 4 kids.
This month I had allotted $600. But, since my pantry is some what well stocked, and meat in the freezer. I'm going for $400, and if I can do it lower, I will. And from there, I'll see what I can do for next month! Maybe I can
Well I had to pick up a few items yesterday, and I had to do it in the next town. which is about 15 mins away. I usually do my grocery shopping an hour away 2 towns away. Better deals and buys well worth the money to drive there.
Anyway when I went in one of the stores I needed to get juice packs for school. I found a case of them that were left over from halloween, they were packaged fruite juice - pure fruit juice but they were called "Toad Broth". They were 9.98

Some background info about me...
I am a homeschooling mom of 3 (17,14,11). Eldest is a high performance athlete and 14 year old is a wannabe (he is getting there).
They eat like horses. On tough training days they consume easily 6000 calories!
Last September I was spending $900 a month on Groceries and our debts were slowly increasing rather than decreasing and I panicked. I began to work on getting our debt under control but I didn't have alot of leeway in
