Let's see...where to start? At the end of March I got 25 baby chicks. This is the first time I have ever raised chickens. All of them survived from the brooder to the coop... however about a month ago something got into the coop and killed 7 of them. We haven't had any other problems until this morning. I went to go feed them around 6:30 this morning and what do I see...2 coyotes at the coop. We lost 3 more baby girls this morning. So now we have to reinforce the coop or something. ...
So, I have come back here. I missed this site but have been so busy with everything, I feel like I just rode the longest roller coaster there every was. I am hoping things calm down now. I still have one battle to finish my oldest DD got divorced and is in a custody battle I am hoping that it will finally be over on July 11th. I tackled the mudroom yesterday - only a bit to do, then it'll be DONE - whoopie! Inventoried HBA only stuff in basement, moved it to milk crates. Consolidated most of canning supplies that were in the basement (need to add the ones in LR.) Did plant the DR plants, only 4 more tomatoes to go. Haven't yet planted herbs outside. Thought I was finished with the July 2011 challenge - I was 'playing' some more this morning before work . . .
I am still picking away at the debt. We have had a few things come up. Dear son got a ticket for not coming to a complete stop before making the right turn, will cost $480 plus traffic school. I am organizing the stockpile and going thru HBA's to maximize what I use my couponing on. I have a large amount of property tax and other costs from property due so working thru those. I am hoping to close those out by end of summer. I did purchase quite a bit of gold jewelry some diamonds as an investment. ...
