  1. Saying "Hello"

    by , 07-29-2008 at 08:33 PM (C@rol's Blog)
How many times have we walked by someone
on the street or in a hallway and instead of
saying hello we pretend we don't see them?
The truth is that all of us, deep down inside,
have a need to be seen, acknowledged and
appreciated. We are on a spiritual journey that
can at times be very lonely.
And one of the simplest and most effective
ways to help our fellow traveler is to
    smile and say hello.

Then sat looking at broken, cheap-ass calculator! Looking and plotting...

OKay, tore it apart into little pieces, which was great fun after an evening of math!

Getting our finances under control was *the* big goal I made for myself this year, and with so many things that's happened, it's been a bit difficult to keep on top of my budget.

But I pulled it out again last week, and updated amounts and wrote down all our bills, etc., etc.

The good thing is, that we have money to pay all of our bills, with some left over, the bad news is, we've had to use some of our EF, during the move and getting settled.
    Which really stinks. ...
