Let's see...where to start?

At the end of March I got 25 baby chicks. This is the first time I have ever raised chickens. All of them survived from the brooder to the coop... however about a month ago something got into the coop and killed 7 of them. We haven't had any other problems until this morning. I went to go feed them around 6:30 this morning and what do I see...2 coyotes at the coop. We lost 3 more baby girls this morning. So now we have to reinforce the coop or something. If all that isn't bad enough...
We have a pond on our land that has bass, bluegill, and catfish in it. Well, Wednesday the pond turned over. Due to all this heat and then we had a atorm roll through and we lost 75 of the bass and 1 catfish. We put the aerator in and were lucky enough not to lose any more. We still have to monitor the pond every couple of hours to make sure there isn't any fish on the surface.

Life just gets so discouraging sometimes. But that is when I have to do some extra praying and just getting closer to God.
