A little back ground info on my life and how I am where I am today...Happy and In Love!!

I am divorced from my ex-husband of 16 yrs. He left me and I never thought I could love again or anyone could love me. But I met my DBF and we are so right for each other. (Like where have you been all my life). I have 3 wonderful children and as of now the oldest and youngest live with the ex during the school year. My middle daughter lives with me and I homeschool her.

I could never be frugal with the ex cause he was a very selfish person and bills would never get paid on time and usually we never had the money to pay the bills because he would spend money like it grew on some tree. I joined frugal village a year and a half ago looking for ways to make the most of what little money we had. Anyway...

Now that I have a wonderful man in my life... I have really started being more frugal and loving every minute of it. My DBF has a wonderful job that makes it possible for me to stay at home. The only draw back his job has is that he is away for 21 days at a time out of the month but then he is home for 10 wonderful days.

So I have been working the budget and seeing where we can start saving some money. I have cut back on the cable and cell phone. I have started doing some of the challenges to make our lives happier and more fulfilling!

Until the next entry...

Ten glorious days every month! I bet you know people who would have given anything for 10 glorious days out of 10 years. (A few people I can think of come to mind)

It's great that you can now be frugal and I'm sure dbf appreciates it too. You should surprise him with how much you saved while he was away!

    Best wishes!
