Happy Friday!

We've been enjoying barbecue pulled pork (courtesy of my successful experiment with the pressure cooker) and cole slaw sandwiches all week. I was on such a roll that night that I also made some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and I'm pretty sure the hubby thought he'd died and gone to heaven! Although he wasn't quite sure what to make of the sweet tea...that was a new experience for him.

Hi, and welcome to my blog. I'm Suzanne, a 48-year-old accountant from the Portland, Oregon area. I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky. I have 3 children and 7 grandchildren, all living on the opposite side of the country so don't get to see them very much. I live with my husband and our two cats and our two very big dogs. I like to crochet and I've been learning to knit, enjoy movies, cooking, getting together with friends, concerts and hockey. So is that enough to set the stage?
