Ian left this morning and took Owen so I could get some cleaning done, and he told me that they'd be gone long enough for me to get a pedicure, or use my footbath. I wish! I don't know where the time goes, but I did a major vacuuming, moved my plants from the bedroom to the deck, cleaned the shower, did two loads of dishes and 6 loads of laundry, went through Owen's clothes, cleaned up the cat litter and bathroom (especially since the cats had peed on the floor around the litter box), bagged up ...

Just popping in for a quick update.

I did manage to put $31 in the bank yesterday. I got paid today and paid my cc yesterday, so tomorrow I'll take a look at how much is in my bank account and transfer some over to ING. Hopefully it'll be close to $400.

I also need to stop by my HR dept and ask some questions about my 401K. I need to do a couple of rollovers, and I think I'm just going to roll everything over to my current plan.

I just wanted to publicly declare a personal challenge I am taking on. I want to fully fund my ROTH IRA this year.

I am going to be saving for this in my ING account. Right now I have $1288. The limit for the year is $5000. Due to the way we handle our money, I am going to try and fund this entirely out of my allowance, which is $250 every two weeks. I essential have $30/week to spend until April, the latest date I can make my contribution. I'm going to put aside any extra money ...

...a lot of times I get overwhelmed with all of the online stuff. There are so many sites out there to keep "updated" - like MySpace and Facebook - and I don't have the time to keep them all updated with new pictures, new friends, updates on my life and my mood. So I'm going to try sticking with straight up FV for a while. I'll keep my blog here.
