Run Like You Stole Something 3.10.09

Ran south along the lake front tonight. Great weather for running - 61 degrees and a few sprinkles. I over dressed (again). I wore a long-sleeve t-shirt and pants. Should have at least worn a short sleeve t-shirt.
I ran about 3.5 miles and had a tough time with it. It took me about 43'10" which is a 12'20" pace. Ouch! That's pretty slow for me. My legs felt super heavy and I had a hard time picking my feet up. I'm not sure what is causing this yet. I did go to a dance-like class today during my lunch hour. It was like doing centre work in ballet. I also went to a muscle conditioning class last night, so perhaps my legs are just tired.
I am proud of myself for not wimping out and walking part of it. I kept telling myself that I have run 21 miles before so there is absolutely no reason I can't finish 3.5 miles. It was a slow 3.5 miles, but I ran it all.
I think I'll take it easy tomorrow and do some yoga. I could use a good stretch.
