Last night DH wrote the first "paid in full" check, and transfered a goodly amount into savings. Can I get a "woo" and two "hoo"s?

Our tax refund will make a sizable payment on another account, and then we will be snowballing indeed.

Saturday we are going to see a play. The tix were a bit expensive but we really only get 2 or 3 dates a year with the lack of sitters (and that's counting the company party, how pathetic), so I'm not going to feel bad about it. We're seeing an interactive version of Romeo and Juliet. Should be interesting.

Other good things have been happening as well. ODD has gotten moved back to third grade. I always knew that placement decision was wrong. We have her dyslexia testing scheduled; she won't qualify for any services but at least we'll know what's going on. I do still believe there is something.

ODD and YDD both made honor roll for first semester. DH says "that means Mommy made the honor roll, too". Well, OK, I'll take that.

ODD is doing triplets in her music lessons. Being the nerdy geek I am, I immediately thought of Bolero...that's rich in triplets! Which gave me a chance to show the girls a video from a moment I'll never forget: Torvill and Dean, anyone? They were suitably impressed, although ODD points out that those are much faster than the ones she's doing in Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. And YDD kept waiting for them to have a spectacular crash...

    Woo, hoo hoo!!! Great on the payment and adding to the savings!! Have a great time at the play... it sounds really interesting.

    I am glad that the school is taking good care of your ODD with her difficulties. It will benifit her so much in the long run.

    I made it sound like ODD got moved BACKWARDS, which isn't the case. She'd been held back to second grade when we enrolled, and has now been moved back to third.

    Congrats on the Paid In Full terminology...yay!!!.

    I love plays, Romeo and Juliet should be a blast...

    haha, Torvill & Dean are in a program called 'Dancing On Ice' here in the UK if your DD wants to see falls and crashes she should watch them do it on the show (Torvill & Dean dont, but the celebs attempting to skate doo)

    I did try to explain to her that the reason that routine was on youtube was because they *didn't* crash. I don't think she quite got it...
