Hi there,
I am happily frugal for a while. I am so happy reading all your tips and would like to thank you all, for taking time to share it. Reading other stories motivates me and ispires and I keep learning. Being debt free (except mortgage) is such a relief, but what I realised I don't have an emergency fund. I do have Vacation Fund, Christmas fund and some savings ($20,000), but I meant this saving for something else. How much is a normal figure? Also I am curious to find out what other people save their change in the jar for? I am recovering after a surgery and getting ready for Christmas, any gift ideas, please share with me.
Dream Vacations:
Pacific coast sruise in fall of 2009 $1500
France in spring of 2010 $5000
Saved $1800
Increase Christmas fund to $800.00 saved only $321.00 so far.
Start saving towards Emergency fund.
