OMG - you should see what my dd made!!!
My dd has microcephaly (small head) and has some learning disabilities due to that. She struggles with reading and math but is quite the designer.
Well she took a silhouette picture out of dh's woodworking book and told her dad she wanted to make a clock out of it. Not only did she make the clock, she cut the whole thing out herself on the scrollsaw!! It is so cool.
Its a little girl with long hair and she is holding the clock in her hand. She knew exactly where she wanted the clock and told her dad so.
I'm going to take a picture and when I send some pictures to someone to scan, I'll get it scanned. I can't believe how good a job she did, in fact I'd like her to put it in the craft sale but she keeps saying "but mom, its my first one". She could sell it for $25.00 in a heartbeat that is how good the sawing is.
I'm so proud of her I just had to boast!!52 week money challenge - $41.00

CJ she definately gets her creativity from you. I know you have to be very proud of her. I am looking forward to seeing the picture. Maybe you can tell her about the possibility of selling it and she could do more. That could help her feel better about herself I am sure. I am so happy for you.
