    Talking Burp anyone?

I haven't posted here in awhile so decided to update on our little guy who has Down syndrome.

His big brother and dad taught him how to "burp". He can now burp on command, when he drinks and especially if he is in a restaurant.

Yesterday we went over to the hardware store and the owner gave the kids each a pop. We went to the back just for a chat and the whole time, Michael and the owner sat and had a "burping" contest. I think Michael probably won and not only that, he had the loudest.

What next is this kid going to learn.

Oh yeah and tease....well thats another story. Now he will pretend he is getting me what I've asked him to get out of the fridge. He brings me everything BUT what I've asked for, all the time laughing hysterically.

If I ask him to put something in the recycling box in the porch, he'll stand at the back door and pretend to throw it in the sink (which is right next to the door), all the while knowing its suppose to go into the recycling box.

    What a kid!!

How funny. It is amazing how proud boys are of their burbing abilities. I love his teasing, that is so cute.

I'm sitting here laughing at the image of him teasing you with the fridge stuff-- how sweet!

Looks like Michael has a very good sense of humor! ...and as for the burping...looks like it's really something boys *like* to do! ....sigh...you should hear Daniel....he tells me he doesn't do it on purpose, but seriously I wonder....
