Any Updates
I know we have several villagers with special needs children. Does anyone have any updates they would like to share?
Do you and your child have any specific goals or hopes for this year?

Lets see:
~Michael can now put on his own jacket and do it right 9 times out of 10.
~we have a speech pathologist coming on April 16th to evaluate him and see if we can get him a speech board. Our government pays for that. We've been fighting for years for one. It finally looks like it will happen.
~he's learnt how to make his own bed and it has to be perfect. It might take him quite some time to make it, but he refuses to come for breakfast until its made.
~he now washes and dries his hands right.
~we also now have to shave his whiskers.

Joshua is learning how to shop (frugally of course) and how to manage his own money. He now gets a disability pension of which I am trustee until he shows that he can be responsible with it. He is struggling with the concept of taxes being added on at the cash and has found himself short a couple of times.
We are just about finished switching all of his health care providers from the children's doctors to the adult ones. He is doing most of the appointments on his own except for transportation.
