How has having a special needs child changed your life for the good?

Have you seen yourself change in good ways? Tell us about it.

I've got to admit, having our kids has taught me patience more than anything. Hardly anything truly bothers me anymore. I've learnt that no matter what, things will work out.

I've also learnt to appreciate what others are going through, no matter the disability with their child.

I'm far more accepting of others, no matter whether there is a disability or not.
