Bad morning with our son
Our son with DS decided last night to wet his diaper and bed and when he got up this morning, was completely soaked. I had no plans on washing clothes today because I had a ton of canning to get done. Not a good scene.
Do you have days like that when nothing goes right because of something your child as done?

I think we all have those days sometimes. I will plan a nice day for us, and the plans will get thrown out the window because of one thing, or another. On days like those, I really feel low, like I cannot do anything right. Thank goodness I get to start over fresh the next day!

Should have seen us at the barber the other day. LOL
Zachary was pitching a fit like no tomorrow. People staring and I was determined he was going to get his haircut. LOL
We ended up leaving that place and going to another. (taking a little diversion tactic for him to transition better and calm down)
At new salon, same thing..screaming fits of rage and limp body kicks. I had him on my lap kicking and screaming while this poor woman tried to cut his hair.
Finally, I picked him up and said stand still and let her cut your hair. It is all in your eyes and it looks terrible. I was ready to just cry at this point. My gosh, he stopped dead in his tracks and she finished him up. Told the girl, cut it SHORT, please. LMAO
A haircut!!!! wahoo. I was so happy it was over.
Tiny little things are a HUGE deal, but when they are over the feeling of accomplishment is gigantic. A haircut for my son would never feel to someone else, what it feels like for me. LOL
It's like, I can do anything now, let's go scale that mountain, parachute off a cliff. LMAO.
**edited to add* Oops I forgot my point...LOL
My point was this little thing took half the day, so other things just didn't get done. It's frustrating to try and plan anything.

Sara, I can remember so well, taking my then three year old son for a haircut ( shudder) Funny thing is... he's 24 now and can't *stand* long hair. He gets his hair cut every two weeks. So, in the long term , the very long term , he *will* outgrow his dislike of barbers. lol

Bubba hates getting his hair cut, too, and he's 3. Especially when it's the electric clippers.
