Frustration is the last word I want to use here. We have worked and worked on getting our son toilet trained to the point where dh is saying "will you be wearing diapers when your 42". Funny when he says it but it really isn't funny.
How did you toilet train your child? Were you the one trained? Was it a challenge or is it still a challenge?
It has been a challenge in this house.. I have 2 out of the 3 trained. they are almost 4 (will be this month) and the last one what I am doing is having him try to go potty when the clock bongs (every hour) he needs to go in and try.... nothing else has worked for him not even treats when he goes and this is working pretty well...
It has been a long road but I am hoping the end is near..
We are going through the potty training woes here too. He just hates the potty. If we can actually get him to sit, he'd sit there for hours and not go. I wish I had some tips. Where do I even find larger sized diapers? He's in size 6 now.

Sara, for larger diapers, you can go to Goodnights - they come in sizes much larger now. The ones our ds wears are 65-85 lbs. They are excellant and although a little expensive he never wets through.
He is getting much better, but still we have some ways to go!!!
