Fellow Campers, Are you having camping withdrawals like me?
It has been so cold here that we have not been camping in several months and I am having withdrawals. I want spring to get here so we can go to the lake to camp.
I have to get busy restocking our motorhome, I have used it as the general store since winter began, if I ran out of sugar, I took it out of the motorhome, ran out of toilet paper-took it out of motorhome, ran out of dish detergent- yep you guessed it, took it out of the motorhome. I have to get out there and make a list so I can get it restocked and ready to roll
.
Just talking about it is making me hungry for campfire food and wishing for lawn chairs.
Blessings,
Kathy

Gosh, you girls make me want a motorhome. Now THAT is my kind of camping. Anytime we ever did the "real" on the ground, in a tent camping it came torrential rains. We even rode out a tornado in a tent at the lake one time. I'm not really that jazzed about that type of camping. It always took me a week to clean up all the stuff after a weekend of "leisurely camping". But a motorhome, now I could do with that! (we don't have one....sorry....but I had to tell ya I wish we did)

I'm having withdrawals too. I love to camp and the weather during the day is great here but too cold at night to camp yet.

I've got the "camping fever" bug as well. Its been such a weird winter for us, its been 40's here even into the 50's. The snow is melting in the mountains which even makes it worse because it feels like spring. Maybe the return of cold weather will make a difference. I can't wait to get into the campers again and go.

The girls, DH and I are really ready to camp. We are hoping to take the trailer out for a camping trip for Spring vacation. It's about time to make our reservations though. In California, we can make them seven months ahead. For some of the best places, you really have to get your reservations early.

No motorhome here, but I am having withdrawals. We camp in a tent with no electric hook-ups back to basics kind of camping and I love it. Even with 4 kids it is so relaxing. We have a camping tub we keep stocked and I have been robbing it when I was out of something.

We thought about taking the trailer out this week for a camping trip, but decided not too because we have other things going on right now.
