    Talking Our first camping trip of the season.

    We had our first camping trip of the year this past weekend. We had originally planned to go to GermanFest but changed our minds since my cousin decided to go with us and his wife is handicapped due to a stroke that she had before she turned 40 (she is 46 now). She could not do a lot of walking and there was not really enough room of her scooter to get through the sidewalks. We decided to just go to the lake and spend a weekend of nice leisurely camping and enjoying time with each other.

    It was a beautiful weekend and we had lots of great food cooked on the smoker by DH, he is a wonderful cook. We are going again in a couple of weekends. It will be mine and DH anniversary so we are going to go just the 2 of us and spend the weekend together.

    Oh Kathy, it sounds like you had a wonderful time...camping can be so peaceful!! What a great idea for your anniversary!! A nice getaway and enjoying nature too!!

    Sounds like you had a lovely time. Hope your anniversary trip is nice We have a camping trip scheduled for Memorial day, cant wait!!!!!
