    Default We sold our camper

We just bought it last June and sold it last Wednesday. I'm kinda glad and kinda sad at the same time. We never pulled it anywhere,it was set up in a park and we had lot rent to pay.I'm SO glad we dont have that payment every month ($175) but Steve and the kids will miss the camper this summer.

We still have our pontoon boat, but it's also for sale. Anyone wanna buy a boat

Dh and I were talking about how one day we'd like to own a camper/trailer by a lake.
I see why you wouldnt miss that lot rent though. Good luck on the boat!

I want a popup camper, but before I could possibly get one, I would have to get a new car because the Jetta wouldn't pull it. I went a couple of years ago and looked at brand new ones, they are so nice. We had an old one in good shape that we only paid 100.00 for, but otis took that when he moved, so for now it is tent camping for me.

I don't do boats, I cant swim and am terribly afraid of water.

    Aw man, no camper!

    Ah well, no rent, either.

Tammy, we haven't even used ours this year, either. AND we're paying for the camper IT'S SELF!

We keep meanin' to, but we haven't.....heck, the winterizer stuff is still in it!!

Wow....DH would love to have a pontoon boat, LOL

We have a lake just 5 miles out of town.

Good luck selling it...summer is almost here so I would imagine something like that would be in demand

we got our pop up last year for $400, it is a dinosaur but in really good shape...just heavy to tow! good think DH has a huge truck to pull it! we only got to use it once after we bought it, so I cant wait to go this year!

I know how you feel, we sold our jet boat last year we also sold our jeep, DH's big harley and my motorcycle....its hard to get rid of stuff even if you dont use it alot!

No camper. I am sure you will love the savings though.

Good luck on selling the boat.

yep Dee,you know me to well. I think I complained about that camper to you a 100 times

It would be better if the kids weren't so small but where our camper was, from the deck to the water was MAYBE 5 feet. So it was always watching the kids like a hawk to make sure they were not near the water. We spent more time telling the kids to get away and dont throw things in the water than actually getting to sit down and relax....
Maybe where they're older or moved out we'll get another.

I don't blame you Tammy, that is just too nerve racking having the water so close.
