Aawww thanks for sharing the pics, Christine. They bring back so many camping and lake memories for me from when our 3 were that age. Have fun and remember that "these" are the good ol' days. Your kids will remember those times for the rest of their lives and talk about them when they get together

We went camping this weekend too! I didn't take my camera, darn! Looks like the girls are really enjoying themselves. Do you have a camper or do you tent camp? We camp in a tent. I would however like to get a pop up camper some day. Camping is so much fun for the family.
What great pics and so glad you had fun! Our neighbor TRIED to go camping with her kids for a few days poor thing, lol, they got dumped on almost daily, came home one night at 2 in the morning to dry off only to find their power out! They made the best of it though, they're troupers!
One day we'll get off the farm and really camp!

Oh your girls look so cute. I am also green with envy. We are going with my 2 adult daughters in August but it's just not the same as when they were little.
We have been camping for years we have gone in travel trailers, pop ups and tents. But somehow I just prefer the tents.

his was our first family camping trip! we have gone quite a few times in the past but that was always with dh's family. his mom used to take their 5thwheel trailer out and camp for the summer, with the kids coming and going all summer. but FIL died last fall so there are no more camping trips with the MIL - she had to get a job.
it was great! I headed out early in the day since it was an impromptu trip - got out there at 11ish (its only an hour from home really) and got the last available spot in the campground (there are 150something sites). dh came out after work.
WE are planning on heading back out on saturday and dh joining us after work then heading home sunday evening.
It was just too relaxing and the girls got the good outside play that kids need!
