Microwave Caramels
Microwave Caramels
1 cup butter
2 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
15 oz. sweetened condensed milk
dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Place butter in large buttered bowl. Melt. Blend in everything
except
vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH 10 min.; stir
well.
Microwave on ROAST (240 degrees) for 10 minutes uncovered or until
candy
forms ball in cold water (soft ball). Mix in vanilla. Pour into
greased
7" x 12" glass pan. Cool. Cut and wrap in wax paper squares.
