    Default Chocolate Oatmeal Bites

Put the sugar and cocoa into a saucepan and, over a medium heat, slowly add the milk while stirring.

Stir thoroughly until mixed. Then add the butter and stir until it is melted.

Bring mixture to the boil. Allow it to boil for a full minute.

Remove mixture from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, then the Nutella and then the oats.

Let the mixture cool until you can lift some with your hands and roll into medium-sized balls. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut (optional).

Me too! I'm such a sucker for anything with Nutella in it. No worries about the photos; I'm really bad at visualising recipes so I thought it might help anyone as imaginatively impaired as myself.

They are far too easy to make - it's a bit dangerous for the waistline

Oh my goodness, Savvy, I've not got a clue! What's nice about them though is that they are small so - theoretically, at least - a couple can help satisfy a chocolate craving without me having to eat a whole chocolate bar or a big bun.
