Super Excited I just got a new job.......
I just got a new position as a Court Clerk working for the Alberta Government, I am super excited because I was bored with my current position. I am also going back to school part-time for my Legal Assistant Diploma starting this Monday. I will be making $5,000 thousand more than what I was what a step up. I just don't know how to tell my boss because he is absolutely wonderful to work for any advice?
Also this means we have the opportunity to move from the Big city to a smaller one with 15,000 people which will be great we will be saving quite a lot of money in regards to commuting time and gas for my fiance which means less wear and tear on his vehicle compared to mine considering my vehicle is brand new(6 Months old) at the same sense I get to see him more often because of this. My commute time maybe the same but it's moves alot quicker than stop and go traffic LOL. At the same time we would be paying less on rent as well, and we could save a lot more for our up coming wedding with my new raise. Realistically it really just makes sense with the fact that our whole life is already in that smaller city because most of our friends are out there. We may look into a house after we get married but that really all depends on my schooling and our next posting we maybe in this area for another 3.5 years we shall see. I just wanted to let everyone know my good news:-).Last edited by Precious26; 05-01-2008 at 04:57 PM.

WTG! You'll have to break it to your current boss with honesty and sensitivity. Be sure you tell him/her you're thankful for the opportunity to work there.
