Doing The Happy Dance with No Pants On!
That's right fellow Villagers, I am dancing aorund my house in the skivvies.

Why is that you may ask? Well, let me tell ya!
BECAUSE I GOT A NEW JOB! I GOT A NEW JOB!!!
I have been going crazy at the bank I work for--just freaking out about the economy, general stability of the bank, etc. Plus, I hate the pettiness that occurs at my bank. If you suggest a new way of doing something, it's like you have a target on your back after that.
Anyways, in January I applied at the city water department. There was an accounts payable position open! Well I interviewed on Wednesday and I ROCKED IT!! I have never felt more confident then I did walking out of that interview!!!
I heard back today and I got the job!!! YAYY!!!!! I'll be paying invoices, billing, reconciling bank statement,s etc. I am so freaking excited!!!! PLus, it's 4K a year more than I am making now. AND I will have a 5 minute morning commute as opposed to the 20-30 minute interstate drive I have now!
I am so stoked! And I Just had to share!McD

Congrats! I'd be dancin' too! It sounds like getting out of the banking industry isn't a bad idea, and people are always going to be using water and needing to be billed for it! Yay for some security...and that pay raise ain't too bad either!
