WooHoo!!! A new job...
Okay, I've been off work since November 2008, that's eight months total and Monday, I start a new job! It's 30 hours a week, will most likely work into 40 and is currently budgeted for six months, but they think it might work into something permanent. It's close to home and I'm so glad to be back to work! Even for just six months, hopefully more.
It's funny, since I've been sending resumes everyday, checking boards, etc. An employment agency contacted me, they had found my resume on our state web site, I posted it months ago. I had forgot it was on there. Interviewed twice today and start on Monday.
I just want to share the good news and offer a little hope if you're looking for a job. Hang in there.
