    Smile DH got a job!

Yay! I'm so happy and I think he is too. It's a large pay cut for him but it's with a company where turnover is very low. They treat their employees very well.
It's been a long time coming (1 year and 1 month). While we had budgeted for this, we're happy for the extra money. Fortunately, we only lost about $5k (net cash flow over the year) with him being off work for this long. It definitely pays to save for those rainy days and it didn't hurt that we both grew up in low-income households.
Just had to share this small success.

Congrats to him for being successful and congrats to BOTH OF YOU for making it through a tough time.

Sometimes a pay cut isn't all that bad if the place of work is good. Hope he likes it.
