Well the store manager did not really say anything. Told me I had to write it down and I asked him if he wanted me to finish out the week or do two weeks. He said finish out the week.
Ya know what really pissed me off about finishing off the week? I work 7 days. No day off. 2pm-8pm. How crappy is that?! Its a job yes, but geez. Why don't you just tell me you hate me already?! It felt awesome!!! I have not told my bakery manager though because I have not seen him.
As for the new job, I e-mail the guy today and told him that they only wanted one week notice and he said "Perfect! I will be in touch soon!".

Ok, I'll admit I just woke up so correct me if I am wrong here
:
You sought another job because you were guaranteed full time and weren't getting it. I think I saw you post something in another thread about getting only 16 hours during one week? So then you go and get that other job (CONGRATS!!!!) and now you have 42 hours in 7 days? Right? Is he just a day late and a dollar short? Or a real jerk? As much as that shift is going to suck, you have to laugh at this LOL. I bet you can't wait to start your new job
