Things are getting pretty crazy around here!!!
The stress is starting to rise! DH and I moved a week ago, obviously. Well remember how my work was closing but they said everyone would be transfered and have a job? If you were full time you would stay full time, etc? Well, I was one of the lucky ones to get transfered close by. I am working in the bakery, but not as a decorator but I can't be picky right now. Anyway---I have 16 hours this week. Yep, 16 hours. What happened to I am guaranteed full time? Thats what they told everyone when they told us the store was closing. Well I complained and witched, and they put me up to 30 hours, which still is not full time. Full time is 32 hours.
Then I remember, when the store was closing a manager from another store came in and said I did nice work and handed me a business card. Well, a few days ago I called it.
I am struggling really bad right now. This move was a bad idea right now, but how would I of even known this would of happened? My store closing, and not getting full time like I was suppose to. I still owe my dad $500 bucks and keep telling him I can give it to you this coming week and so and so, and then something happens like my pay only being $140 bucks or something. Ugh.
Anyway---I called. The corporate guy I called said he would have someone else call me. 4 days later he calls and I go in for an interview today. They are union and said part time is up to 30 hours or something and Sundays don't count. So if your full time they have to give you 40 hours because of union and since Sunday does not count I could work 48 hours. Well he said there is no full time opening right now, but I could do part time up to 30+8 for Sundays. He would have me be a 'floating' decorator. Going from store to store every week. No problem with me. All the stores are about 5-15 minutes away from me. My drive to my current job is 45 minutes with all the traffic.
Also, he said matching my pay is no problem!
He is gonna call me tomorrow and set up a time with me to see my decorate. I have to show him what I can do. Ugh....thats the worst part!!!
Lets hope things get better!!

Lets hope he thinks so!! Its always a challenge just going somewhere and decorating a cake because you are using all new supplies and such, and the thing that worries me is their buttercream. If you have soft buttercream its a PITA, so who knows...Lets hope they have good buttercream!
