Anyone ever take the Reid test?
I went to a job fair this morning, interviewed & was asked to take this test. There were some tricky ethical type questions on it. Hope I "passed" and get the job. I'll hear within 3 weeks... cross your fingers for me! First outside the home job in over 25 years, lol.

Is that the one that asks things like would you turn your father in if he stole a pencil? (that's probably not the real question, just what I always think of because my father stole a lot of pencils
) The key is consistency, they ask the same questions over and over with different wording and look for you to slip up.
I had to take one years ago and apparently passed, although no job ever came up.

I hope I passed too, it was just so wierd. I mean one question was are you honest all the time. um no. I don't think most people are but that doesn't mean I steal. it just made me nervous, I answered the best I could. "If you were a boss would you fire an employee for stealing $5 how about $10? $50? $100? I said yes to all of the, because i think how can you trust someone if you know they steal? I wouldn't.
"If a bank dropped a bag with $100 in it would you return it?" I said yes thinking that if I knew where it came from I'd give it back but then another question was if I was given $1.00 more from a cashier would I return it next visit? I said no to me it was a small ammount and makes up for a time or 2 they over chanrge me. Maybe that's wrong?! What about if you were at a vending machine & it gave you an extra item would you put the money in for it ?!? 50 questions in all. Them giving me the test at all means they are somewhat interested since I saw others leave without being asked to take it....Tests just get my back up,lol.~*Darlene*~
