Fingers Crossed - A Vote of Confidence

So i am working right now on a short term project that ends in September, and kind of freaked out about what will happen after that.

I saw a job posting for a position with the organization I am currently working for, but because I have had some logistical problems with my current supervisor, I discounted even applying.

This morning, my director called me in her office and suggested that I consider applying.

The position is permanent, with benefits (say hallelujah!) and would be at or slightly above my current salary.

No guarantees I would get it, but what a great vote of confidence to asked to apply...I felt good about myself all day!!
