    Unhappy Alas...

So the other day when I thought I was nearly fired... I wasn't completely right... it'd be ALL of us that work in this department. There's word that the uber-boss (not immed supervisor) might get rid of us all because she hired a couple "spies" to rat on everyone's every move.

So I'm back to finding a part time job. I'd love to have full time, but wouldnt have the flexibility with job for the kid, nor would I have the energy to clean, cook & do everything I already do.

I've sent out my resume to probly 300 different companies literally - and havent heard anything... except from ppl who want me full time.

I'm at a loss what to do.

Sue, I faced the same problem as you when I got laid off a few years ago. I finally decided to start my own home based business so I could choose my own hours etc. I am very happy with my choices!

So sorry to hear about this. Have you thought of temping? I think they do offer part-time jobs as well as full time. It's what kept me employed until I got my permanent job.
