Question Has anyone ever worked for Marriott?

I see on their website that they were voted one of the top 100 companies to work for by Fortune.

I'd love to hear your experiences, good or bad

i worked for them for a while. the company was ok. nothing to really brag about.
what got me, was, i was told that i was a manager, was promoted and everything. pay had even kicked in. then all of a sudden, they send someone from corporate and that person comes in and changes everything, making someone else manager and not even telling me. i just happened to notice a change in my pay. so when i talked to her about it, she just said, oh, i wanted someone who was more commited and would be able to travel. no notice or anything. so i left.
