Review
I just found out that the company I work for does all their reviews in January - even though I was just hired in Sept. and have only been there three months.
Taking bets on whether I get a raise or not...
The only good thing is I've worked for my boss before, so I don't have to worry about how much I've impressed him. He was obviously impressed enough to hire me back.
I just find it weird that I'll be going through a review process so soon. Anyone else have one coming up?Loving wife to DH (8/31/03) and Mommy to Owen Alexander (9/20/06)

At my company we get our raise Jan 1st, then we get our reviews in March. They say they do that so that we have time to correct ourselves and show improvment before raise time comes up, but I think it's strange.

Our reviews come in April. I was hired at my present job (many years ago) in January and had a very good review that April with an even nicer raise. So I think its possible you will be nicely surprised at your review time, too.

Yep. I was in your shoes a few years back and did get reviewed only 3 - 4 months after beginning. You may just get a raise as well; sounds as if things are going well for you.

i was supposed to have a reveiw in oct. got a raise but no reveiw
anyway i company i used to work for did review on your anneversay date and then one year decided to everyones at the same time sorta. store managers got theirs done one month, then any assistants teh next month, then all other employees teh next month. it was possible to get hired one month and have a review the next month if you were an assistant or above. for regular associates they had to have worked for the company for at least 3 months before getting a review that might have gotten them a raise.wife to carl
