Default Job openings where you work?

Not too sure if this is appropriate, but, how about a thread of any job openings where you work?

Then, if a member of Frugal Village is interested, they could always PM the original poster for contact info, etc...

    Anyone game for this?

Where I work, in San Diego, CA (downtown area) The company I work for is hiring for the following:

Train Operators (will train, wage to train 8.25 per/hr for 12 weeks and 16.50/ hourly after qualifying)
Ridership Surveyor (12.60 per hour )
Lineman (apprenticeship, college required, but company pays for books and school 16.60 per hour to start)

All of these positions provide benefits and wage increases after each 6 month period until top pay has been reached.

I hope this can be a new thread to help out those job seekers here!!!

I work for the local school system here in Bethlehem PA. I work in the cafeteria and they are always looking for subs, I believe the pay rate is $7.50 per hour (at least it was a couple of years ago when I started). I am now a regular employee with a union and I think my pay is up to $10.19 an hour. The job is only part time and works well if you have kids in school. My hours are either 10 - 1:30 or 10:30 - 2:00 pm Mon-Fri. We get some paid holidays and 10 sick days a year! They also give their employees a small amount of life insurance. It works really well for me since I am here in the morning to drop my son off at school and am home to pick him up in the afternoon, plus I am off whenever he is including the summer!

If anyone is looking for a trades jobs, ie: framing, plumbing, sheetrock, roofing....Boise, ID is the place to be! Our housing construction was up 52% last month! And it is now the #1 growing city. I still love it here...we are out on the county. Can't beat the weather or the amenities of this small city. (we are about 210,000) and one of the cleanest places you'll ever visit.

They are always hiring where I work, but I really can't recommend it, unless you are looking for long hours (with NO breaks), low pay, and no benefits.

Where I am from, in Wyoming, people are SCREAMING for help. this is especially true for CDL drivers. My company, an oil well service company,is hiring all the time. Literally. The newspaper has 104 job llistings, many looking for multiple employees.

Our area (shenendoah valley, va) is always looking for retail and service people (housekeepers, gas stations, CNA's) so I cant really offer any good leads. Our main employers are manufacturing plant...and its a long eait to get in there! IF they arent already laying off.
But hey! You can come be a server with me, at the Staunton Applebee's!
