Default I had my job interview(s) on Saturday....

And I think they went well. It was a very busy system they had, they were interviewing for 200 different positions all at once, and there were around 175 candidates present. I had 5 interviews scheduled within 3 hours, and you were alotted 30 minutes per interview.

We were all in a huge auditorium type of room, sitting at tiny lunch tables that would normally seat only 4 people. So at each table, there were 2 interviewers and 1 interviewee, and all of the tables were lined up next to each other. I have never been interviewed in a room full of people with all of that noise and activity before!

It was a bit nerve wracking knowing that after 30 minutes of interview, a bell would literally ding, and you would have to move to the next table number where you were scheduled for an interview.

At first I was wondering how on Earth I was going to make a good impression within 30 minutes, but then when I got to some of the tables, basically all they did was lead a 30 minute conversation to get a feel for my personality and whether I am a good communicator. I had only one person ask me the 'typical' interview questions, like what are your strengths, what are your weaknesses, etc.

In all, I think that it went well. I am supposed to hear within 3 weeks if I am going to be getting any job offers, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!

i have never heard of such a thing. Were you interviewing for one company only or was it representative of more than one company? Best of wishes to your prospects, I hope you get the perfect position for you!

They were all tech jobs, like programming, software verification, hardware design....I got a call today! They were doing a follow up to see if I had any questions for them that I didn't have time to ask during our short interview, and the man I spoke to said they would be getting back to everyone next week!!
