    Angry stupid job

i hate my job and the moronic mangenent what runs it. I was written up today, which would normally sent be into a panic but 1 im entering my last semester in school(xray tech) and 2 just got a new car but got insurance incase im unemployed or disabled..

what part of i have no plans of staying here do they not get.. my crew leader confronted me in front of everyone and wanted to know why i didnt package some bread.. well i didnt have time..and told her so..we went back and forth , eventlually i walked away...

at the end of my day i was written up..i let them know that i didnt beleive a work mngt said and crew leader had no business confronting me in front of others..mngt stated i would be unable to advance to a nother position(duh) i dont want to and know i never would which is why i went to school.

im just so fed up, i dont like people who dont tell the truth and these people wo;uldnt know the truth if it bit them on the butt

    thanks for letting me vent

also what part of "i have no plans to stay" did they not get.. maybe they need memo

Sounds like a crummy job but at least you you are on your way to a better career. Someday you'll look back on this job and it'll make you appreciate how far you've gone and glad that you worked so hard to get there. Hang in there and good luck this semester with school.

i guess they think that just because theyre management they have the right to gripe at people whenever they feel like it. i got chewed out by a district boss one time for laughing too much at work. gee im sorry, but its about the only way you can get thru a crappy job sometimes. i guess i was suppose to stand around with a scowl on my face like him so i can advance in a job. i also got chewed out because i woldn't put someones work order in front of someone elses. i worked in the auto dept. in walmart and its first come first serve. someone ran over a nail in the parking lot and i guess walmart was afraid she was going to sue so they called me wanting me to put her in front of the line. im sorry, there have been some people waiting for 2 hours, thats not fair to them, she'll have to wait just like everyone else. and i hung up. boy howdy did they not like that at ALL. the stomped back there and pulled me from my register (i was the only one back there and we were swamped) and proceeded to chew me out for 30 minutes about how dare i hang up the phone on them and how dare i go against their orders. i walked out. they could deal with the mess they created. my boss (the only good guy out of the bunch) called me at home and told me he would take care of it and to come back to work the next day. my pink slip was removed from my file and noone ever mentioned it again, he must have chewed some major butt....

Good for you for going to school!!! Also everyone needs to vent--I've had jobs like that before. And like you, I hate it that people have to lie all the time too, but unfortunately in my experience -- that's every job I've had you'll have those people -- some jobs there are just more.
Hope your time goes quick and you are outta there soon!!
