    Default New job!!!!

I've just had a new job!!! I'm so excited about it!!! I will start there in april, until then I'm stuck with the old job...
The new job pays about 800 US dollars more per month (yes it is much..) and most of it will be set aside for savings and for paying down morgage.
BUT I need new clothes for the new job. What clothes would you buy?? I think I need pants and jackets, maybe the odd skirt and lots lots of tops/t-shirts etc. The job is as a Public Relations Manager/Communications Officer.

I'm a rather big girl so my choise is not the very best. Maybe something like this: http://www.ullapopken.se/ullapopken/...xi7i6jePKd-142
    Or this: http://www.ellos.se/Catalog/Browse/V...318&orderNo=65
    What would you buy??? Pictures???

    Congratulations!!!!

I'm not sure about the clothing either. Do you have any working friends or family that could help you out?

I like the ellos outfit better (the one way over to the right, correct)? I think it looks more professional. Buy very basic colors and that way you can mix and match. Black, Navy, Khaki or off-white and stick with classic styles that way you can wear the stuff forever.

    Congrats on the new job!

First congratulations on the new job! It sounds like a great job with great pay.

As for the clothing...I would purchase a nice 3 piece suit in black and another in gray or another neutral color, use these as the basis of your wardrobe, you can mix the jacket, skirt and pants with other pieces of your current wardrobe, you can also dress up outfits with a nice scarf for a pop of color. They will expand your wardrobe for the least amount of money.

Way to go on the new job! I have a limited budget as well and have to wear clothes I can meet clients in (on the posh end) but I do well buying classic looking basics (skirts, pants, shirts and jackets) and I stick to just basic black and navy for the skirts, pants and jackets. The shirts are the only thing I get in different colors. The guys I work with wear the same two or three suits and only change their ties. No one says anything about it so why should I worry about having 50 different outfits - lol.

Congrats on the new job! I also like the Ellos outfit more than the one in the first link. Black looks more professional, IMO. Good luck!

u could start looking at any/all clerance racks..i have gotten nice tops, pants and skirts for 5.00 us or less.. if u have freecycle in your area, ask for clothing..often people are hanging on to stuff they dont need, or looking to get rid of stuff.
