Working full-time until June
Well I haven't been online for about 4 days. I have been working in a multiple handicap unit at one of our middle schools, subbing as an aide. The regular aide's husband was injured and using the family medical leave act for the rest of the year, so the school principal asked me to sub it out for the rest of the year. I said yes, I really don't like working full-time, in fact, I think it is exhausting, but the $$$ will help pay off some bills. Plus, it is only temporary, although it will be until sometime in June, because of the snow day extensions. Wish me luck, I just keep thinking about the financial gain, in helping with paying down debt.
taking one day at a time, trying to get rid of debt!!

Hang in there! You're right...even though it'll be exhausting, the extra money is hard to turn down. I hope the time flies by and you're back part-time before you know it.

I work in a special needs classroom with five special needs students. It can be very exhausting. My favorite part though is the interaction with the rest of the children in the school. I love talking to them. I am sure in a middle school it is a little different but I work in an elementary school and love the children. Most of them are so kind to our children. I bet it will be very rewarding for you. I find that the days go by slow at times but the weeks fly by if that makes any sense. I drag on Monday but the next thing you know it is Friday again! Best of luck to you!!

Same here. I work with speical ed students ranging from very sever to mildly severe. It can be very exhausting, but it is very rewarding. I have worked in special ed since 1996 which shows you how rewarding I find it. I love my children!! They give the best hugs and the biggest smiles!!
Congratulations on the temp job! I bet the time flies by!!~*Michelle*~
