Looking for new job!
Wish me luck! I'm applying for a new job. I will try not to be disappointed if I don't get it because I already have a job. My big complaint with my current job is low pay. But, the really bad part of it is the internal gossip and bad blood. People can be really nasty and hurtful. It makes for some really bad days and doing one's best to rise above it all. I work with some (not all) adults who are genuinely mean.
Thanks for listening and good luck to the rest of you who are trying to make things better in your life.
Blessings to all!

Good luck!! I know what you mean about the gossipers. They can really make a work place unpleasant.

Good luck hon! I know how it is to work with people like that. I wanted to be in the front office of the store I'm in, but once I got there, and saw how two faced all the people there were, I had to get out. I had fought long and hard to get in there, too, so it was very disappointing.

Yep...I am genuinely puzzled by how unkind people can be for no apparent reason. What I try to do is to look at this as a situation that is not typical. But, I really can't figure out what the heck is going on here. I am no threat to anyone. And, I'm not the lone "target". A woman I became friends with just got a new job and they did everything but physically chase her out. They made her life miserable for 3 years for no apparent reason. I tried hard to find fault with her, but there was nothing there. I actually tried to find the bad in her...*sigh*...and it was no where to be found. I promised myself that I would not treat her badly just because everyone else treated her like crap. I am glad that I stood my moral ground. And...I am so happy for her. Now...I've got to find a way to make the "great escape".

Mean people stink. Let the bunch of them be miserable together while you move on to better things & you will.
