Default I have a 2nd interview for a job today!!

I love being a SAHM but due to financial need I have been looking for a part-time job that will also suit my family needs. I sub in our schoool district working with children with special needs. I saw an ad in our local paper for an instructor's aide at our County Mental retardation school. I went in and they called me back for another interview, it is today. The hours are M-Th 8 am to 3pm, with holidays and summers off. I would be on the same schedule as my DS who is starting high school, he is my last one in school, other than 1 still in college. The pay is $7.15 an hour and I can also sub on Fridays if I choose at the same pay rate, my choice if I want to work Friday or not. I would like to get the job, the $$ will help. If not, that will be okay too. We will just keep chugging along with our debt reductionplan as we are already doing. Wish me luck.

Job interview went really well, will know in the next few weeks if I got it or not. There are 2 positions open, and if I don't get one of those I will be subbing, either way is fine. It is aide to the preschoolers with severe autism, aspergers, and other handicaps. I will have to change some diapers, but it is in a structured environment etc. Sounds like the right environement in which I like to work, plus hours are great for women with school age kids.

Update: I did get the job. I start 2 days of training on AUgust 23rd. My hours are 8-3pm, m-Th, with the options to work in another area on Fridays. Summers, holidays off. Just like working in a regular school district, but I am working with autistic preschool age children. I am looking forward to it.
