    Default I am so unhappy

Ok back in May last year I finally got a job at our local hospital, I had been trying for well over 3 years. Anyways I took a temp position in hopes of getting something perm, well in Aug I got a perm job and now I HATE it. Well I don't hate the job as much as I do the mgmt. I have come to the conclusion that place is very cliquey and I don't fit in!@! I yelled at for over 30 minutes this morning about something they couldn't prove happened. I think they want me to quit because they cann't fire me. I am so miserable. I was even told to come in smiling and ask everyone what I can do to help them and go give the patients massages. I am sorry I don't get paid enough to be crazy for this job. I just need to vent I think. I am just miserable...cried all afternoon.

I am soooo sorry. It is miserable when you hate your job or the management. I was in a situation like that for awhile and started getting severe panic attacks. I ultimately got transferred to another area where I was fine. Is it just the management in your area??? As in could you get a transfer into another department? So sorry you are feeling like this and I am sending you some good vibes to help you through.

awww I am so sorry to hear that. I know what it feels like to work for people like that. Is there any way you can file a formal complaint against the ones that treated you like that?
Can you start looking for another job while you still have this one?
No-one deserves to be treated like that!

It's such a bummer to get the position you want just to have it made miserable by some jerks. I'm sorry this is happening to you. I hope things get better for you soon.

I am sorry you're going through this. I used to work at a job and my boss used to yell at me daily infront of everyone. I HATED HIM AND THE JOB. I finally found another job and quit. It was such a relief to be done there. I hope you find something else--whether it's another job at the same place or a different place. Good luck.

I know this is very stressful on you.
I had a boss that was hateful to me and would yell at me in front of other`s then she started picking on other`s. I retired because of my health problem`s and never went back.
I hate to hear of any body being mistreated .
    good luck

I have also worked for jerks in the past. Try to transfer to another area within the same company if possible. That is what I did and it made a world of difference. The new boss in the new department was not great but she was fair and considerate. I really grew to like the new coworkers and the job.

I hope things will look up for you soon. I know what it feels like to hate a job and be treated badly. Hopefully you can transfer or find something else.

I will say though if this has happened to you it probably has happened to other people as well. These things kinda happen like that. Your not alone even though you may feel like it right now.

    Best wishes

I am sorry you are going through this, maybe it might be time to look for another job while still working there. You could also talk to the HIGHER up authority and report there misconduct. Workers should NEVER be treated like that and none-the-less be yelled at, that's just not the way they should be running things.

    I'm so sorry.
This could be my story. The EXACT same thing happened
to me and I quit. Life is to short.
Try to transfer or start looking for a new job. A hospital
in my experience (worked at 2) is a very hard place to
work for. Even in the adminstrative areas. I've never
been back and wouldn't wish it on anyone.
    I hope things get better.

Yup, been there!! NOT a very healthy environment, and trust me the people you are working with know the person is a !@#@!. I ended up finding another job. One of the yeller's I came across would have his temper tantum then come back with cookies as a peace offering. Would eat the cookies but still think he was a !@#@!. As the other poster stated life is to short. Take care of yourself. If they start to yell again you can try and stop them and state you would rather speak with them when they can speak to you in a rational manner. Although giving them the hand would probably send them into a deeper furry. : )

    Sending you hugs.
