I have been wanting an enameled cast iron Dutch oven and would prefer one made in the USA, but am having trouble finding one. The Lodge brand's enameled DOs are made in china as are many other brands'. Can you suggest one that isn't made in China?
Le Creuset is made in France. Very pricey but there are outlet stores with deals to be had. Keep an eye open for vintage Copco, it was made in Denmark and can be much more affordable.
I've had enameled cast iron and was never impressed, so I got rid of it. I prefer regular CI.
I wouldn't worry about enameled CI from Lodge being made in China. It still has Lodge's reputation and manufacturing standards behind it.
