Checking in!
Childfree here, but never made a choice. I've just always known (since I was kid myself) that I didn't want kids. I feel very fortunate to have fallen in love with a like-minded man (been married 14 years). There is no way to compromise on the to-have-kids-or-not issue, and I have seen many relationships brought down by incompatibility in this area.
To make it permanent (and quit taking artificial hormones), I had a tubal ligation 3 years ago. Best decision ever!
We have 2 dogs (rescued racing greyhounds) and 2 cats (one cranky, one sweet).

I am also childfree. I don't know if I want to remain childfree but I still have a little time to figure it out.
I do have one very spoiled rotten and mean cat that keeps me on my toes though!Meredith

Baby Step 1: Done!
Baby Step 2: Working on it. Will take a loooong time.

I'll jump in. We are child-free ( I have a 26 year old son who has lived on his own since he was 19) and have been married for 7 months. No kids in our future!
My son is getting married in September (yay!).
We have 4 dogs (3 puggles, one weenie-mix), four cats and three birds ( a cockatiel and 2 parakeets).

Been together almost 7 years and don't plan on having children- I can't say I have ever wanted any and that doesn't seem to be changing any time soon. I am not a maternal person at all.
We are however desperate for cats but we just haven't been settled enough to take on pets yet.

Child free, semi by choice. Just celebrated our 5 wedding aniversary. We have 3 dogs, Sarge (8.5 year old St Bernard), Penny (6 yr old Bullmastiff) and Chloe (5 month old small mix). We just got a calico cat named Tessa from a friend who couldn't keep her. She is adjusting well to the HUGE dogs. Hope to get chickens soon!
