Vegan Chocolate Fudge
Hello Sisters!
If ever you invite someone over for dinner and they are vegan, this is a simple and absolutely delicious vegan desert and it only takes about 20 minutes to make.
Please note: Before you purchase any of these products, read the label and make sure that there are no animal products.
Ingredients:
~ 1 c. peanut or almond butter
~ 1 c. maple syrup (I use pancake mix, cheaper!)
~ 2/3 c. cocoa
In a heavy saucepan, melt butter and syrup n\over medium-high heat. Keep it stirring because if you burn it, it's like trying to clean up burnt brown sugar -- like tar.
When the syrup and butter are completely melted and mixed together, remove from heat. Add cocoa and mix until it is all evenly mixed. Pour the chocolate fudge into a 8" x 8" pan and put in the fridge to set, roughly two hours.
The fudge is exceptionally gooey, and very rich. I usually make it with chunky peanut butter. It is also an excellent hot chocolate sauce for ice cream.
Bright Blessings!
Rawiya
