gifts for holidays

the one thing i love about this place is the holiday threads.
this is the one time I feel like I really connect with others on here.
making our own gifts, exchanging ideas, recommending different things... it's wonderful.

i'm a simplist, a minimalist, at heart.
less is more to me... in so many ways.

i've started already my gift making and list making as well to get together what i wanna do.

i have my dh and son i'm concentrating on for gifts.
we always do a collective gift to my in-laws.
i never give to my "former" family (those i grew up with).
i have no friends, so that doesnt matter.
and giving to coworkers I feel is imposed and rude.

so since i pretty much only have 2 ppl i do anything for...

what recommendations do YOU have for me?

a teen and a dh... both male.
have everything under the sun and moon they could already want.
both prefer "battery operated" (or at least electrical! lol) toys.
mostly movies, music or computer stuff.

me?
i don't know HOW i fit in... lol
i prefer simplicity. play in the garden for an afternoon.
sew, knit, crochet something. make new bath salts or other household cleaners for different rooms of the house.
i rarely watch tv or use the computer.
I prefer candlelight over real lights. when the sun goes down, I tend to follow! lol

I'm just a real laid back nature girl... living with two high tech guys.

it's HARD to create gifts for them they'll like, or be able to appreciate... w/out that look of disappointment the morning of when they open a box hoping for something "techie" and get a scarf or blanket.

What if you focused on the movies, music and computer games. Make up their own gift baskets with a movie or computer games Also what are their favorite goodies make a gift in a jar.
