what are YOU thinking of asking for Xmas?
Just thought I'd get your gears working in a different way for the holidays.

What are YOU asking for?
a couple things I've thought of are the swiffer mop and Mr Clean magic erasers. also maybe Debbie Meyers green bags too.

I've asked DH for a bathroom remodel. Looks like I'm getting it, too!

I usually ask for things for the house or a mini-vacation for the 3 of us. But this year I'm not asking for anything from DH. We've gotten a new car and new to us house, TV, and laptop. So as far as I'm concerned, that's Christmas, bday and anniversary (which all fall the last week of the year). Shoot - it's enough to cover those holiday for the next couple of years

My MIL always has a big Christmas and shops all year for us. She usually asks what we want and this year I've told her rocking chairs for the front porch.

I really want an Aerogarden, but I think it's too expensive to ask for. Although it's about the same price as the George Foreman I got last year...

Is it wrong of me to be REALLY jealous of you? We could afford to remodel our bathroom, but getting my hubby on board with the work involved is the trick.
As to the question, I don't know what I want. I have everything I NEED.
Maybe some new CDs or some new books. I probably could use some new shirts and jeans.
Hubby and I made a pact a few years ago, that we would play "Santa" to each other and just buy things that could fit in each other's stockings (I made our stockings and they are pretty big). This way, the kids won't wonder why Santa forgot to fill our stockings. It is fun to try to find small things that each other would like. Plus, we started this at time when money was tight. It is a fun thing that we will probably continue forever.

I have one and it's a huge disappointment. It looks much better than it really is. I did one round of herbs in it and went back to pots.
Don't be TOO jealous, if it's anything like the kitchen remodel, it'll take about 3 years to finishIs it wrong of me to be REALLY jealous of you? We could afford to remodel our bathroom, but getting my hubby on board with the work involved is the trick.

I have a couple aerogardens.
REALLY worth the investment!
you can have fresh herbs, tomatoes, lettuces, etc. fresh in winter... and that's important to me... to have fresh stuff... at little cost... that doesnt lack taste (much like those foods in the grocery during much of the year).

I haven't put much thought into what I want for christmas. But I have mentioned new running shoes, nice wooden spoons and a GOOD gallon size pitcher to Dh in the last week as some things I NEED. When I told him those things, I said they would make great presents for christmas this year!! I don't think he knows I was serious.

Well, I would love Santa (or anyone for that matter!) to bring me a Keurig Brewing System, and it's something that the whole family and guests could use too.

My dh is terrible about buying gifts so I usually get my own then hound him into wrapping them LOL but he is just as bad about getting gifts-there is absolutley nothing he wants-so I've started making him chocolate chip cookies for his pressie.
And I haven't decided yet what I am buying me from him this year.I did mention to my quilt store about a wish list so that might take care of my DS list for me also
Lucky for them all I'm not high maintainence LOL

I usually leave a list of favorite stores for gift cards. Usually for groceries..lol. Last year I didn't use household money for groceries until mid March. Great gift!
I don't really have any use for things. We have too much. I like to craft, so I get some yarn and fabric here and there, but there aren't any gadgets that I want. I'm going to talk to fil about building me a garden shed as a gift..lol But int he spring.

I am going to ask my sister to design an eyeglass/sunglasses chain for me. I don't really need one, but she kind of got into beading a while ago, and I think she'd enjoy the compliment and the challenge.
I'm going to ask my mother for some personal-sized chicken pot pies. She hates to cook, so it is actually asking a lot from her, as she usually just gives me cash, but she makes FANTASTIC chicken pot pies that freeze beautifully. By December, it would be a great thing to have stock-piled in the freezer!
Everyone else, I'll probably just ask for cash, which I usually use about 30% for spree-spending and 70% applied to either a slightly higher mortgage payment or cc bills.DH aka Mad Hen

I started my list already! It is hanging on the side of the fridge (the side no one can see!
). If I dont write things down, I tend to forget them!
Here is my list (which is actually kind of sad-it's all kitchen stuff):
wooden spoons
rubber tipped spatula's
small fry daddy
a GOOD stainless steel cheese grater
Wow, I can really live it up can't I?????
