What is everyones favorite holiday tradition. As a child, every year on Christmas Eve we got a new pair of pj's and something for the family (ie. movie, game, etc). Now that I have kids we have continued the tradition.....What about you??????
We do the same!!! I buy everyone a new pair of jammies and then we either read The Night Before Christmas or Polar Bear Express or watch a Christmas movie.
We also take the dks out in our jammies and look at Christmas lights!!
We first go to church services with candles, then we do almost the same thing on Christmas Eve. We have special treats and snacks and the older kids along with the grandchildren come over. We open one small gift. Its a time of sharing and having fun.
Making a Happy Birthday Jesus cake - I've always made it on Christmas Day in the past, but am thinking of making it on Christmas Eve Day this year (to cut down on so much cooking on Christmas Day).
