    Default Christmas Sewing

Have you started yet? What are you working on?

I haven't started yet... I'm finishing up fall dresses for dd and some maternity clothes for me. Then I'll get started...

We are redoing the boys' room and surprising them with a lodge themed room. Dh built the guys a triple stacked bunk bed. So I'm going to make them curtains and coordinating quilts for each of their beds.

    Also...
PJ's for each of the kiddos (a Christmas tradition)
Play food (for dd's little kitchen and shopping cart)
    Lounge pants for dh

I'm making or have made so far:

Gingham dog and calico cat stuffed toys, Dutch plate/Grandfather clock pillow - to go with a framed copy of "The Duel"

    Angel Quilt for Lily

    puppets

fabric money envelopes for Dave Ramsey graduate friends and family members

wheel chair head rest covers for my dad -- one for each month, and the major holidays through the year.

wrist bags and hip bags for dd and dil's

Wizard of Oz draft stoppers (I made one for dh last year, now have requests from several other family members - it's my own pattern)

PJ's for each of the kids (a tradition here too)

Bamboo velour hoodies for the kids

    2 sock monkeys that I haven't finished

I'll be lucky to get that much done. I'm short on motivation this year and am horrible with "deadline" sewing as it is.

If cleaning my work space means I started...then I have starting..lol

I cleaned it out, had the carpets cleaned(along with the rest of the house). Now I"m organizing and getting ready to work!

I just found two tiny totes that I'm going to embroidery for my 2 youngest neices. These are big enough for gymnastics or dance. I also found a set of towels that I'll embroider for MIL for her travel trailer..lol. I designed something very cute to put on it.

Then it's to real sewing. I'm making my girls sleepover bags. Tired of them stealing my grocery bags..lol.

All the kids will get pj pants and tops.

Have some other ideas, need to see what I have in my stash. Going to use it up, and thin it out!

    oh poo!
I forgot to mention the embroidery stuff i received as a (free) gift.

I got like 6 or 7 embroidery packets and a free hoop (a metal one!) from my 'new' family (in-law parents).

Beautiful stuff... and since mil passed away, she had wanted me to have it anyway.. now I get to make things in her honor.

I have a lot of things in mind, hopefully I'll be able to get them done!

I have a quilt top done for my step brother and his wife, just need to put the border on it and send it to the quilters.
I'm going to embroider napkins and a table cloth for my other stepbrother and his wife.
I'm going to embroider napkins and a table cloth for my dad and his wife.
I have a couple of table runners I want to do as well as embroider some kitchen towels for some relatives. Also, hopefully I can get some totes made.

Hmmm, now that I have actually written this down, I really had better get started! My house is pretty well all cleaned and picked up, so I'm going to try to sew for at least an hour tonight...
